The new gates were installed for the major races of The Turf Invitation Cup and The Intervalve Ltd. Trophy. The RWITC is extremely impressed with the world class gates, in particular the new design back gate system that was purchased for the 6 stall gate. The club is now looking at converting the other two sets of gates to this new design.

To help celebrate this milestone, South Australian Premier Mike Rann, and Mount Barker Mayor Ann Ferguson, visited the Steriline factory to oversee the dispatch of the starting gates. The three sets of gates were flat packed into a sea container, which on arrival in India was met by a Steriline Technician to assemble and train local staff.
